Starting from Ambleside we set off up the Kirkstone Pass road and turned onto High Sweden Bridge Lane for about 1/2 mile, which then becomes a good track leading to High Sweden Bridge its self.

| We had picked a lovely spring day to take a couple of
friends for a walk. They hadn't done a lot of walking in the past few months
so we chose a nice introductory walk which still gets you into the
mountains but not so demanding. Starting from Ambleside we set off up the Kirkstone Pass road and turned onto High Sweden Bridge Lane for about 1/2 mile, which then becomes a good track leading to High Sweden Bridge its self. |
